Lauren Durkee is a strategic leader with experience driving complex, cross-cutting initiatives in mission-driven organizations across the education, nonprofit, and government sectors.
In addition to her work as a Placement Advisor for Prime, she serves as a Strategic Project Manager at the Gates Foundation. Prior to this role, she held various leadership roles at Denver Public Schools, which included leading the district's remote learning response during COVID-19.
Earlier in her career, Lauren managed federal education grants at ICF International and began her career as a first grade teacher . She holds dual master's degrees in Business Administration and Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin, an MEd in Educational Leadership from the Broad Center (Yale School of Management), and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
